1. Overview

To keep our marketplace safe and trustworthy, Vendcite prohibits and restricts the sale of certain products. Sellers are responsible for ensuring their listings comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and our platform rules.

2. Strictly Prohibited Items

  • Illegal drugs, narcotics, and controlled substances.
  • Counterfeit goods, fake brands, or pirated software/media.
  • Weapons, firearms, ammunition, explosives, and fireworks.
  • Hazardous materials including toxic chemicals, radioactive items, or flammable substances.
  • Human parts, organs, or remains.
  • Currency, cryptocurrency mining devices (where restricted), and money-equivalent instruments not legally tradable.
  • Pornography, obscene materials, or adult content prohibited by law.
  • Wildlife products, endangered species, or items restricted by CITES.
  • Government-issued IDs, licenses, badges, or uniforms (e.g. police, military).
  • Stolen goods or items linked to criminal activity.

3. Restricted Items (Require Approval)

Some categories may be sold only under specific conditions or after approval by Vendcite. Sellers must provide proof of authenticity or certifications where required.

  • Alcohol, wines, and spirits (subject to licensing).
  • Tobacco and smoking-related products.
  • Prescription medicines, medical devices, and supplements.
  • Cosmetics, skincare, and personal care products.
  • Baby food, formula, and health-related consumables requiring NAFDAC approval.
  • Digital goods, gift cards, and downloadable content.
  • Used electronics and refurbished devices (with warranty proof).

4. Intellectual Property

Sellers must not list products that infringe on trademarks, copyrights, or patents. Any violation of intellectual property rights may result in account suspension and legal action.

5. Consequences

  • Immediate removal of prohibited listings.
  • Penalties, suspension, or permanent ban of seller accounts.
  • Legal reporting to relevant authorities where necessary.
  • Loss of buyer protection for transactions involving banned goods.
